Create something beautiful from nothing using watermedia (liquid acrylics and water media drawing tools.) Each composition will emphasize one of the basic elements: color, shape, or texture.  Focus will be on the painting process rather than the painting product.  Some collage included along with journal writing.

20th Annual Chandler Ostrich Festival

Ruth was one of  twelve valley artists selected to “decorate” a life-size fiberglas ostrich statue for the festival and display through November in Downtown Chandler.  Many can be viewed on San Marcos Place and Boston Avenue (south of Chandler Blvd and west of Arizona Avenue).  Ruth’s “Olivia Ostrich” features over twenty different fruits and vegetables.

Vision Gallery welcomes artists and friends from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each month, fine art and crafts artists line the historic downtown section of Chandler on the covered sidewalks of San Marcos Place and Boston Street. The City of Chandler offers an abundance of free parking along the downtown streets, plus covered parking in free parking structures.
